Be al long time Partner: become a Treeholder. You of course get to pick a variety that fits your personality. You receive an invitation to our Lost Horizon Festival. At the inaugural day you´ll be handed a magnum bottle of the Founders beer, a four year old elderflower wild ale. On this first treeholders day we host a festival full of music, amazing food and some exclusive breweries at our Lost Horizon Farm. Besides this you´ll receive the next five years every year our exclusive treeholders beer (shipped free of charge in Germany, The Netherlands, Austria, Chech, France, Denmark, Liechtenstein and Luxembourg). €500,-

Foeder Helles 2022

Foeder Helles Helles for five years on ex white wine Barrique

The Foeder Helles was brewed as a classic Helles but then aged in an old 2500 Liter former wine foeder for a period of 3 years. The foeder was released from the winery due to a brettanomyces infection. We welcomed this unknown visitor and over time it transformed the beer and added a subtle fruity character.

Flemish Porter 2023

Flemish porter on Spanish Rioja red wine barrels previously used for Flemish red

This is our Flemish Porter. It was brewed with an addition of Yunnan Black Tea and then fermented with fresh honeysuckle berries. Afterwards it was aged on ex-Flanders Red barrels for 4 years. While keeping its body and fruity character, it gained a bold acetic bite that will twist some taste buds, only to give way to a complex and malty finish.  A warming yet fruity beer that can be enjoyed slowly and especially well next to a heavy meal such as our local Bauernfrühstück.

Kriek 2023

LostHorizon Farm - Kriek 2020

This Kriek is a blend of 2 and 5-year Belgian Pale Ale aged on Rioja and Weissburgunder barrels. In July 2023, we added day-fresh sour cherries from the orchards of Altes Land and left the beer on them for 6 months. Enjoy this complex balance of fruity acidty and notes of almonds, tannins of wood and depth of aged beer.
